Starting With Slippers - Cambodia

Size Foundation’s newest program, Starting with Slippers, expands our commitment to the education of children.  A grass roots endeavour which began with an expat family joining forces with a trusted Khmer man (Chea Rathanak) and his local family program. Social problems continue to run rampant in Cambodia, but with this cross-cultural team, under the facilitation of Size Foundation, we will become a part of the solution.

Size Foundation is supporting and facilitating a sustainable endeavour to help rebuild the lives of families in four remote villages/schools outside Siem Reap, Cambodia. The focus of our mission is the education of approximately 1500 children. A great majority of these school children come to school each day with no shoes or food in their bellies.

Starting with Slippers sets out to provide one new pair of good slippers for every child in Sleng Spean, Phnom Dey, Chomka Chek and Phnom Srey Snom Primary schools while also providing one nutritious meal each day for every child in these four schools. We firmly believe proper slippers and a full stomach will help to ensure and sustain the educational lives of all the children while also providing them with dignity and fulfill a basic human right.

Thank you and Together We Can Make A Difference.
